On foot or by bike, the North-eastern cycle path of Lake Garda is accesible all year round and it is suitable for everyone. It is concreted and completely flat and this feature makes it usable also by families with young children, who will enjoy going down path on their little bikes or on the stroller in a more comfortable way.
On the way, admire the amazing view on the lake and on the mountains all around and enjoy the immersive experience among nature. Do it slowly, dive in the beauty of the landscape and appreciate the breeze while you walk or ride. During summer do not forget the bathing suit and the towel, taking a dip in the lake is a must!
he cycle-pedestrian path Brenzone - Malcesine is not only beaches, views and lanscapes, but also culture, tradition and gastronomy. From South to North it goes through 10 villages: Castelletto di Brenzone, Marniga, Magugnano, Porto di Brenzone, Assenza di Brenzone, Cassone, Val di Sogno, Malcesine, Campagnola, Navene. You will be enchanted by the little historic centers, their small harbours with coloured boats, the flowery balconies and alleys.
In Cassone dont'miss the Museum of the Lake and Aril River, which is only 175 meters long and it is considered the shortest river of the world.
Finally, who arrives in Malcesine can visit the Scaligero Castle, go up the highest tower and be amazed by the beautiful landscape from up there.
Snack and lunch on the lake shore!
After a long walk you deserve a break. What about a snack in the open air?
Along the road there are many green areas where you can stop to have a picnic. And to the delight of the children there are also slides and swings.
There are many lakefront restaurants for a tasty lake fish-based lunch. We point out a couple of them in Castelletto di Brenzone:

Useful information:
Lenght: the path is approximately 40km long, back and forth.
Parking: you can park along the Gardesana road SR 249 starting from Pai di Torri del Benaco (shortly after the little village centre of Pai the path begins) or in the parking spaces in the centre of Castelletto di Brenzone.
